Guardian Ambulance Ltd. employs Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) and Primary Care Paramedics (PCP). We have a highly dedicated staff to both the industry of EMS and toward the people living in the communities we service. Loyalty, respect and integrity are all evident in the relationships developed with our staff. Evidence of this is in our high retention and staff longevity. 

Guardian Ambulance Ltd provides both ALS and BLS services:
ALS - 24hr ambulance. Available for hospital transfers and emergency response. 
BLS - 12hr peak period ambulance. Available for hospital transfers and emergency response. One ambulance each, stationed out of Innisfail (Monday through Thursday) and Ponoka (Tuesday through Friday) operating between 0700 and 1900.

A medical director oversees all protocols and services. All staff are required to adhere to policy/procedure and maintain due diligence when responding to emergency situations. Patient care reports are reviewed for consistency and to maintain protocol guidelines are being met. Guardian Ambulance Ltd works closely with AHS to ensure the most recent protocols and practices are being implemented.

EMS is a very dynamic industry. It is constantly changing and evolving to provide the very best care and support to persons in need.
